There are several suggestions for the maintenance of crusher hammers:
1. The hammer is gradually worn during use. When the weight of the hammer is reduced to about 80%, it must be replaced, otherwise the grain size of the output will be difficult to maintain. When the front edge of the new hammer is worn to 3/5 of its width, the hammer can be turned over for use.
2. After the hammer shaft is used for a long time, it is usually ground into grooves at the place where the hammer head is hung and the hammer plate supports the hammer shaft, resulting in edges. Before reinstallation, these edges can be eliminated by grinding or flattening to improve the stress condition of the hammer shaft.
3. Under normal working conditions, when the output of the machine decreases, the power consumption increases or the discharging granularity becomes larger, check the wear of the hammer head, grate screen and other parts, and make adjustment and maintenance.
4. After the machine is officially put into use, the spindle bearing runs in for a period of time, and the bearing should be cleaned and replaced with new grease to ensure the normal work and service life of the bearing.
